The very Commencement of this current New Year 2025
proved to be very lethal and intolerable for me and my fam-
ily members but the shocking impact of it couln't dare break
down the will power, persistence, obstinacy and importunity
to my heart and soul. By the grace and blessings of 'Lord
Sri Krishna' I had been provided with a blessed opportunity
to be appointed as an important member of the tiny but
very honourable and prestigious educational establishment
named GOPALNAGAR SUSHAMA MEMORIAL SMART
SCHOOL of which, the Director, the president & above all
the TIC madam have given a new and vivid birth to mine. I
had lost the colour and light in my life, of this but the tiny,
lovable and affectioated childeren of this great institution
have proved to be the prime torch bearer in my present dis-
tressed life. Nevertheless, I love and respect this institution
very much.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The whole members of Gopalnagar Sushama Memorial Smart School are intrinsically indebted to the uninterrupted and
constant service of those faculties who have clung to the fragile wings of this esteemed institution from its inception till the
auspicious advent of the present Managing Committee.
We are especially grateful to the present Managing Committee, particularly the able supervisors like the Director, Mr. Haridas
Halder, the Chairperson of Sushama Smriti Nandan Bhavan, and the Chief Administrator of Gopalnagar Haat. The President,
Vice-President and the Personal Secretary have also been a great support to the institution.
The existing teaching and non-teaching members have contributed immensely towards the smooth functioning and
development of the institution. We are very much thankful to them for their trust and belief that all the students are
nurtured with care, love and dedication, reaching the core of their young hearts.
Moreover, one of the guardians of a student has generously contributed financial assistance for the present students in the
context of music classes and string instruments.
Existing students-cum-guardians, neighbours, some well-wishers and, above all, the grace of Addya Maa, who always guards
the entire wealth and prosperity of Late Shyamal Kumar Mukherjee.
PREFACE
Prehistory
Before the actual origin of Gopalnagar Sushama Memorial Smart School, having UDISE No.: 19112115004, it was a private
coaching centre for the students of Class V to Class XII during the years 2012 to 2013.
Mr. Haridas Halder, the Director of the present Sushama Memorial Smart School, was the original pioneer of the
coaching centre. Fortunately, the coaching centre was named after Mrs. Sushama Mukherjee, and it came to be known as
Sushama Coaching Centre. This coaching centre had a private library which provided paid services. Moreover, this great
institute gradually gained its name and fame.
Needless to say, some dishonest persons raised disruptions. However, Mr. Haridas Halder made some ingenious plans,
thereby converting the idea of a coaching centre into a Junior English Medium School. With the passing of time, he personally
became busy with his own business and trade, and therefore had to hand over his responsibilities to some persons who again
proved to be unsocial, uncivil and unsuitable to run this school with honesty and perseverance.
Lastly, he had to take over his bosom favourite school himself and handed over the entire responsibilities of this esteemed
school to one of his near and dear family members. This school was almost on the verge of closure, but recently it stood up a
little with the cooperative assistance of others.
The Story of A teacher's Psychological Upbringing
"Let us sacrifice our today so that our children can have a better tomorrow." - APJ Abdul kalam. When I was a student,
the proximity of my beloved teachers aroused my first feelings towards this ideal profession. That feeling gave me the
direction to follow this path. I felt the first taste of teaching in my life in April 2022, courtesy of Sushama Memorial Smart
school, Gopalnagar Dhan Hata. My journey with this school began as a Assistant Teacher. Since then, many days have passed
one by one. I have wit-nessed many ups and downs of this school. I have found many hardworking and dedicated fellow
workers by my side, Who have nourished the school like children. They have fought hand in hand in difficult situations, and
again, everyone's hearts and souls have been filled with joy and excitement. Above all, this school premises is always vibrant
like small flowers with petals. Their simplicity and bond of love among themselves are the greatest blessings in my life. Their
playful words, talktiveness, mischievous, and running around fill the school with a hint of sweet sunshine at the very beginning
of the day. Year after year, they too leave one by one, and new students take their place. As they come and go, we, the teachers,
build their future with a smile, even with broken hearts, like "just as a potter builds his pot of desire with his skillful hands".
